From humble beginnings, “Coogee Deli” (as the locals know it) has been a small independently-owned corner store for over 24 years. Once a standalone store in the middle of the market gardens, the store is now part of the Coogee Plaza complex. Coogee Continental has served local families with essentials for generations.
As word spread, our store has evolved into a busy gathering spot, while staying true to its roots as a continental deli.
Anthony and Kylie moved to Perth in 2010 after spending time living in the Middle East, their travels took them from cozy trattorias in Italy to souk markets in Dubai and countless other culinary hotspots. It was this life experience along with Anthonys Italian heritage and love of making salami that ignited the idea of giving up their corporate lives to own their own continental deli.
The food offering at Coogee Continental features freshly sliced cold cuts and a range of premium imported and locally made antipasto and cheese. A select range of imported grocery items, local delicacies, delicious continental rolls, expertly brewed coffee and European style donut balls – known by the locals as Fritule. Coogee Continental also makes the best lasagna and meatballs in Perth!
Coogee Continental Deli is more than just a place to eat; it’s a community hub where friends, families and neighbours come together. It’s a welcoming space where you can connect with a food memory or discover something new.
